About the Event

The dog days of summer are coming to an end. Before they disappear, why not treat yourself and your pup to a cool paddle board adventure with Sunshine’s Adventures? We love pups and paddling, we love paddling with our own pups, and we would love to give you the opportunity to paddle with your pup! Introducing your pup to paddling is best done from the platform of a paddle board. Don’t have one? No worries. We will provide all the equipment (minus a doggie life jacket aka canine floatation device-CFD) for you to paddle with your pooch.

Price is $40 per person and includes paddle board instruction, guided adventure along with all equipment (board, paddle, PFD for the humans). Canine floatation devices (CFD) will not be supplied. We highly recommend dogs be equipped with their own floatation device, but it is not required to participate. At the bare minimum, please place your pup in a harness for ease of lifting up on to the board.

The combined weight of human and hound cannot exceed 275 lbs. This is the maximum weight limit of the paddle boards and if exceeded, will make it difficult to paddle and the experience less enjoyable. Some paddling experience is helpful but not required. Sunshine will offer basic paddling instruction, on water support and properly outfit you for adventure, so you don't have to be experienced participate. Most likely, we'll all find ourselves off the board and in the water at some point, but this is all part of the adventure and fun with your favorite furry friend.

Reservations and payment are required at least 24 hours in advance as equipment and space is limited. Details given with paid registration via email. See frequently asked questions below. Contact or call 423.763.7357 to learn more.
